Our History
Fullett Swanson PC’s roots date back to 1986. After graduating from The John Marshall Law School that year, Paul Fosco, the firm’s founding member and his partner “hung a shingle” outside of a 750 square-foot office in Mount Prospect, Illinois. Initially, the firm focused on representation of automobile dealers in connection with various facets of their businesses, but it soon gravitated toward handling all aspects of its clients’ real estate-related matters. Over time, the firm evolved and began concentrating in other areas of the law, including representation of community associations throughout the greater Chicagoland area. This proved to be a pivotal move in shaping the firm’s future.
As the community association practice began to flourish, the firm was seeking an experienced litigation and collection attorney and joined forces with Stuart Fullett in 2001. Stuart had gained extensive negotiation and litigation experience while working as a sole practitioner and prosecutor for the City of Prospect Heights, Illinois. His versatility proved to be essential to the new firm, and Stuart immediately became a partner and was primarily responsible for managing all phases of the firm’s collection and litigation practice.
In 2002, the firm further expanded upon its community association practice and recruited Scott Rosenlund. Scott had previously been employed as an associate in a law firm located in Olympia Fields, Illinois. Scott brought an extensive level of experience and skill to the firm, including widespread knowledge on complex and day-to-day community association governance matters, procedures and documentation. The addition of Scott to the growing firm provided to be ideal fit, and Scott became a shareholder in the firm in 2007.
Lara Anderson joined the firm in 2010. Prior to becoming a shareholder in the firm, Lara had been employed as a partner in a large, national law firm. Lara possessed invaluable experience in all aspects of community association law, as well as complex civil rights, constitutional law and municipal law matters. Her years of legal experience and all-around knowledge have been vital in providing practical know-how and counsel to the firm’s community association clients.
